Local attitudes

Obsidian Strategic understands that local people want new developments to fit in with the character of Tollesbury and to contribute towards the provision of infrastructure.

Community facility

An area of the site will be reserved to provide a community building, for example a new health facility. What piece of infrastructure is required to facilitate sustainable growth of Tollesbury?

Village car park

An increase in levels of on-street parking and a lack of car parks is resulting in an adverse impact on the accessibility and traffic flow through the village.

In response to these concerns, Obsidian Strategic want to provide a new village car park.

The proposal will deliver approximately 30 safe, accessible, and convenient car parking spaces south of West Street.

It is intended that users will be able to park their vehicles and walk directly into the village.

The car park can play its part in reducing the levels of off-street parking in the village, freeing up the carriageways, and allowing traffic to flow better.
